We are constantly seeking to leverage our passion for technology and execution by helping our clients achieve a more streamlined business model.

To accomplish our goals and serve our clients better, we are looking for a dynamic, innovative director to drive significant growth and create value within this early-stage company. You will manage one or more client accounts, overseeing business operations and assisting in the growth and development of the team and overall business. The Business Manager reports to the Vice President.


Main areas of responsibility:
• Managing the financial performance of the business unit
• Expanding existing client relationships
• Managing businesses that meet or exceed projections
• Participating in the internal management of the company
• Guiding team development through identifying skills, needs, delegating tasks appropriately and motivating teams to produce exceptional results
• Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Contributing ideas into the overall management and well-being of the company
• Serving as a mentor to others and consistently identifying and implementing new ways to improve the quality of our shareholder outcomes.
• Maintaining high service levels to ensure a strong customer experience
• Assisting expansion of revenue & customers through multi-faceted interactions, including face to face, phone, and web-based platforms (email, IM, etc.)
• Facilitating new customer relationships through campaign development and execution


Basic Qualifications:
• Experience leading a cross-functional team
• P&L Responsibility with a solid financial background
• Demonstrated experience leading across multiple functions, including marketing, supply chain, sales, business development, and operations
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in STEM disciplines or Business Administration, Management, Marketing with relevant work experience in a technical field
• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong adaptability, creativity, and drive to succeed
• Solid Negotiation Skills
• Strong team player; motivated and extremely customer centric
• Able to build a go to market strategy
• Ability to manage conflict – particularly at the client level
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%)


Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional experience selling in a B2B environment
• Food industry or material industry experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Experienced in use of customer relationship management (CRM) software


Preferred Level of Experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading a team
• Minimum of 7-10 years professional experience


Location & Commitments
• Full-time, permanent
• Work Schedule: 4 days in office in Utrecht, 1 day work from
