OutSourcing Inc. Support Project of the Miracle of the Pine Tree

Ntrinsic is part of the Outsourcing Inc.’s global group. In November, our Chairman and CEO Haruhiko Doi handed a cross, made from wood taken from a tree called “the miracle pine tree”, to Pope Francis, during his visit to Japan.

The cross was made from wood from “the miracle pine tree”: the only tree out of 70,00 that survived the 2011 tsunami in Rikuzentakata, Japan. Due to seawater damage the tree was eventually cut down and the Outsourcing group helped sponsor a project to recover and carve a cross made out of the wood. This was known as the "Support Project of the miracle pine tree: Production of the Cross".

The tree has come to embody hope in Japan, which is reflected in the design of the cross.

This has been an important and humbling project for the Outsourcing Group to be a part of.
