Over the last two years, Ntrinsic have embarked on a journey of transformation, focusing on driving our own expansion and evolution, implementing significant positive changes that have transformed and expanded what we do, how we do it and who we do it for.
None of this would be possible without our people.
Across our UK and Brussels teams our people have exceptional experience of being trusted suppliers to major FTSE companies and PR funded fast-growth start-ups. And each is dedicated to growing their focus on specific skill verticals, ensuring their knowledge and networks yield quality and depth.
Here’s your opportunity to find out a little more about them and the part they play in our change journey.
Pierre-Olivier Merat - Recruitment Consultant
How long have you worked for Ntrinsic?
I have been working for Ntrinsic the past four months.
Can you tell us what a ‘typical’ day is like for you at Ntrinsic?
The fast paced environment that’s inherent to the business makes it hard to have a “typical” day, but it always starts with a good cup of coffee while identifying new candidates and client’s needs. Once that’s all reviewed, I can set-up my priorities of the day and start doing what I like the most, matching candidates with opportunities.
What makes Ntrinsic stand out as a recruitment company?
Ntrinsic stands out thanks to the recognised expertise of its consultants and the processes which are definitely quality oriented. Every recruitment consultant is specialized in only one field which gives them more credibility consultants and clients wise.
What do you think makes a great recruitment consultant?
I think the most important quality a recruiter must possess is curiosity. Curiosity about your candidates and about your client to be able to match them. Being resilient and flexible is also really important.
What’s the best bit about your job?
It might sound cheesy, but if the client and the consultant are happy to get to work together, I’m happy too.
How would you describe the culture at Ntrinsic?
Ntrinsic’s culture is about going all together in the same direction to achieve bigger things as a team. We are results oriented but there is also a room for support and help when needed. You’re never stuck long in a situation here, there’s always someone with another point of view that sees the solution you couldn’t find.
What’s the biggest focus or priority of your role?
Biggest priority to my role is finding solutions for clients who have an urgent need. They are often in a tough spot and that’s where I know I can find someone whose skills will unlock the project or situation.
What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role?
Overcoming the bad image that recruitment businesses still sometimes have in the eyes of people can be challenging.
How do you do ‘best’ by your clients and by your applicants?
Being honest, transparent, and going the extra mile.
At Ntrinsic, consultants are motivated by solutions rather than being driven by KPIs. How does this impact your work?
We have goals set and well established objectives that drive us. It’s up to us to find the best way to achieve those, and that’s very rewarding.
